Welcome To The Best Ibiza Site Ever
What’s up party people!
So like I mentioned in my first post yesterday.. This site is going to be about all things Ibiza.
The main reason I wanted to start this site was because..
I wanted to relive my trip over there this past summer right now in January..
I remember when I first started researching about taking a trip over there, I wished I had a site that broke everything down for me. There are a few out there, but none that I felt did it really justice.
My first guess is if you are here and wanting to know about Ibiza, then you are definitely someone that likes to party. And I am going to take a 2nd guess (which I am pretty sure that I am right about this one for sure) that you are someone who loves house music.
And I don’t mean you listen to it occasionally. To go to Ibiza, at least from the states like where I am from, you must really LOVE the music.
With the answers to both of these questions being “YES”…
Let me tell you about my first experience in Ibiza.
Honestly, before I get into that. Let me tell you about what I had already experienced already. So I don’t think I have to say this again, but I will 🙂
I really, really LOVE house music. Everything from House to Techno, to Minimal to Tribal Tech House.
So I had done shows before, but my biggest partying experience up until this point had definitely been..
WMC “Winter Music Conference”
I had actually went to Miami 3 straight years for this. This at the time was the end all for me. I loved everything about it.
The vibe, the beach, the music. It was awesome.
After being there for the 3rd time, I started meeting more people out there who really swore by Ibiza.
So I decided to look into it.
Did Ibiza live up to the hype?
Honestly, Ibiza was everything I thought it was going to be, plus wayyy more.
Why do I say that?
The music was amazing.
For me, it’s always about the music. Yes, girls being there is cool and all, but I have been to parties where I literally get so lost in the music, there could literally be nothing but dudes in the building and I wouldn’t have even noticed.
I guess it helps that I also have a beautiful fiance 🙂
Everyone was so chill.
Maybe it’s a European thing. but every single person that was there was just so laid back. I’m used to going to these types of parties in the US and half of the time I’m having to deal with a bunch of dudes trying to hit on my chick.
There was none of this in Ibiza. Man, what a breath of fresh air. I could really just enjoy the music and not have to worry about a group of creeps.
The food was delicious.
Honestly I might have had palea every single day I was there. Trust me, you will need a big plate of palea after partying at Pacha or DC-10 way into the morning!
In tomorrow’s post I will be breaking down how I prepared for my first Ibiza trip, and how you can make sure not to make some of the same mistakes I did!
